Tasca À Risca

Tasca À Risca needed a professional web presence to showcase their traditional Portuguese cuisine to both local and international visitors. The restaurant required a solution that could display two different menu types (weekly rotating dishes and a comprehensive fixed menu), support multiple languages for tourists, and maintain an elegant, authentic Portuguese aesthetic while remaining modern and easy to navigate on all devices.

We built a modern single-page React application with a sophisticated design system that honors Portuguese culinary traditions. The interactive menu system features tabbed navigation between weekly specials and the fixed menu, with intelligent category filtering for wines, appetizers, and main courses. Framer Motion provides smooth, scroll-triggered animations that enhance the browsing experience without being distracting. We implemented i18next for seamless bilingual support with automatic language detection, and integrated Google Maps for easy location finding. The result is a fast-loading, SEO-friendly website deployed on Firebase Hosting with automated CI/CD pipelines.
